1. Returns & Refunds
1.1 We advise our customers to inspect the furniture carefully for damages before acknowledge the acceptance note. Though rare, there is a possibility of manufacturing defects or even furniture being damaged during transportation. Should you detect any damage or defect e.g knocks, dent or cracks, contact us or email us. You have the right to reject the merchandise upon delivery at no cost or schedule for an exchange (does not apply to clearance items).
1.2 You also have the right to reject the merchandise immediately if the piece delivered is different from that depicted in the product description or picture you saw online.
1.3 Minor scratches and dents are considered touch-up issues. In such rare cases, the merchandise will be touched up or repaired. In such cases, we do need you to take the photo and email us for our inspection approval of return within (2) days upon receiving your product.
1.4 Ideal Home Furniture has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.
1.5 All products sold at shop.idealfurniture.com.my will have a 7days return policy. Returned product must be in its original condition and original packing and not abused and installed, Buyers must inform us at email@example.com within the 7days period as the INVOICE date of the product before returning the product.
1.6 shop.idealfurniture.com.my will confirm with the buyer for the returning arrangement and buyer must ship the product back to Ideal Home Furniture at his/her own cost. Buyer will take full responsibility of the product damage/loss of the during the return shipment back to Ideal Home Furniture. Buyer must ship and return the product to Ideal Home Furniture within 7days after receiving the return confirmation.
1.7 The 20% of the product return actual price may be charged an administrative fee unless the product is defective or wrong product delivered by Ideal Home Furniture error will be FREE RETURN.
2. Order Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation of order must be notified in writing to Ideal Home Furniture within 24 hours. Cancellation of orders cannot be accepted if the products already sent out to our 3rd party logistic.
2.2 Cancellation of orders for custom made/ made to order products ( e.g sofa, bed frame and benches) , Ideal Home Furniture reserves the right to charge 50% from the total price.
At any time or date named by Ideal Home Furniture for delivery is given and intended as an estimation only. We are always trying our best to fulfill the date and time as stated at your most satisfaction and convenience as our valuable customers.
3.1 Upon delivery of the Product, you may be required to sign for delivery. You agree to inspect the Product for any obvious faults, defects or damage before you sign for delivery. You need to keep receipt of the delivered Product in case of future discussions with us about it.
3.2 We shall not be liable or be deemed to be in breach of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any delivery if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond reasonable control. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the following shall be regarded as causes beyond reasonable control:
3.2.1 Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident;
3.2.2 war or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition;
3.3.3 acts of restrictions, regulations, by-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental parliamentary or local authority;
3.3.4 import or export regulations or embargoes;
3.3.5 interruption of traffic, strikes, lock-outs, other industrial actions or trade disputes;
3.3.6 interruption of production or operation, difficulties in obtaining raw materials labour fuel parts or machinery;
3.3.7 power failure or breakdown in machinery.
4. Delivery Documents
4.1 Upon receiving your item, please inspect whether the packaging is in good condition. If yes, you will be required to sign off the Delivery Documents to acknowledge your good acceptance
4.2 Damage Inspection: Please make sure that you inspect the packages at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, “Product Damaged” clearly on the sheet the delivery agent asks you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
